Teacher Assessment and Standard Assessment Tasks
As children move through the school, their progress will be measured against clear objectives using teacher assessment. We have an effective assessment policy in place which enables us to identify children’s strengths and weaknesses and determine future learning.
Following the new National Curriculum in 2014 we have adopted a new Assessment Framework in order to address Assessing Without Levels.

In the academic year in which children have their 7th birthday, they will also be assessed in a limited number of subjects, using the national Standard Assessment Tests (SATs). These assessments take place in May each year.
Emphasis is placed on the teacher’s judgements of how a child performed throughout the year and the national curriculum tests (SATs) provide information to help the teachers with their assessments. The Key Stage One results included in this section of the website show our teacher assessment of the National Curriculum for 2015.
The number of eligible children is: 60. Figures may not total 100 per cent because of rounding.
