Parents are an invaluable resource at Larkfields Infant School, and many parents choose to take an interest not only in their own child’s educational attainment, but also in a variety of school activities.
Parents’ Evenings are held regularly and parents are also invited to attend special school events, such as concerts, exhibitions and Sports Day.
Many parents help us in school, becoming involved in a number of areas, including baking, sewing and art work. We are also grateful for the help that we receive from parents in organising fund-raising activities. If you feel that there are any areas in which you can be of assistance to us, then we would be pleased to hear from you.
Even more importantly, if you ever have any worries or questions, then please do not hesitate to contact us. The class teachers are usually available before and after school, as is the Head, but it is a good idea to telephone in advance just to be sure. If you would prefer to speak to a Governor you will find a list of their names in the ‘About Us’ section of the website and an email contact address for our Chair of Governors on the ‘Contact Us’ page.
It is our aim to foster a good rapport between home and school, working in partnership with parents to better understand the needs of their children.
It is our aim to develop positive relationships with the School Governors, the Family of Schools and the community.
