Leadership Team

Nichola Irwin: Mrs Irwin is the Head Teacher; she is responsible for running the school including the quality of teaching and learning. She co-ordinates staff development, performance management and assessment. She is the designated lead for Child Protection, Safeguarding and Looked After Children. Mrs Irwin is a reading champion and leads the development of reading. 

Carla Smith: Mrs Smith is the school SENco and deputy designated lead for child protection and safeguarding. Mrs Smith also leads on Mental Health.

Year 2 Staff

Kerry Bear: Mrs Bear is currently teaching a Year 2 class. She is Key Stage 1 leader. Mrs Bear mentors initial teacher training students. She leads Maths and Science.

Rob Gritt: Mr Gritt is currently teaching in Year 2. He leads Music, Geography and History.

Nicola Bunker: Mrs Bunker teaches in Year 1 on Thursdays and Fridays and is a reading champion.

Year 1 Staff 

Leanne Naylor: Mrs Naylor is currently teaching in Year 1.

Beth Robertson: Mrs Robertson teaches in year 1 on a Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and leads Art & Design. 

Nicola Bunker: Mrs Bunker teaches in Year 1 on Thursdays and Fridays and is a reading champion.

 

Reception

Hope Lager: Mrs Lager is currently teaching in Reception. She leads PE and co-leads Early Years.

Daisy Speakman: Mrs Speakman is currently teaching in Reception and leads Computing and RE.

• Tina Clarke –  is a Teaching Assistant working across both Year 1 & Year 2
• Julie Jones –  is a Teaching Assistant working across all year groups, who leads on ASD
• Teresa Reed – is a Teaching Assistant working in Reception
• Clare Bostock –  is currently a Teaching Assistant and is also the school's ELSA
• Helena Tooth –  is a High Level Teaching Assistant and leads our intervention programme and is a reading champion. 
• Jodie Theakstone - is a Teaching Assistant working in Reception and Year 1. 
• Katie Thompson- is a Teaching Assistant supporting children across all year groups.
• Justine Lloyd - is our general support assistant to teaching staff.
