Before your child starts school you are welcome to visit by making an appointment with the Head Teacher.

Parents of children who are due to start school are invited to attend meetings in the term prior to admission. There is also a series of visits for the children where they meet their teacher and experience school life.

In September children attend for half a day only for the first week, followed by a week when they also stay for lunch. Full time attendance commences on the 3rd week of term. Specific details and dates are included in the new starter pack for parents.

Are you looking for a welcoming, caring and family-friendly school where your child can learn, grow, have fun and feel part of a wonderful community? We would love to invite you and your family to come and discover everything Larkfields Infant School has to offer!

We have a number of morning and evening appointments available for prospective families to come and look around our school, meet our friendly staff and experience our warm and welcoming environment. We strongly encourage you to bring your child along too – they can explore our setting, meet our staff and children, and begin to get a feel for their new school.

Not in our catchment area?  Don't worry!! We have families all across Nottinghamshire that are part of our school. We are in an ideal location for parents who commute to work as we are right by the A610 and M1. We also have a great Wraparound Club for breakfast from 7.30am and after school until 6pm, which is ideal for our working parents. 

🎈 Exciting New Play Sessions!

This year, we are delighted to be introducing two exciting new play sessions for prospective families! These special sessions will give you and your child the opportunity to meet our staff, explore our school and join in with a fun, interactive play session alongside other families and children.

It's a wonderful chance for your child to start making friends, become familiar with the school environment and have some fun, while you get to know our team and our school community.
