Our Year 2 children had an exciting and memorable experience when Partake Theatre company visited school to bring the story of the Great Fire of London to life. Through interactive activities including dress-up, music, dance, and performance, the children were fully immersed in the events of 1666 and gained a deeper understanding of how the fire started and spread through London. The workshops encouraged the children to use their imagination, develop their confidence, and actively participate in their learning. It was a fantastic opportunity for the children to explore history in a fun, engaging, and creative way that they will remember for a long time.
