• School Council Visit to County Hall

  Today the School Council visited Nottinghamshire County Council at Trent Bridge. We enjoyed a buffet lunch with Councillor Philip Owen and the Council Chairman. We were given a tour of the council building and learnt about the role of the Council plays in our lives. The Chairman kindly allowed the children to try on his chain of office. 

  I was so proud of the children, their behavior and manners were exemplary. We are hoping to return in the summer to share the children's work on Our Wonderful World.

  Sophia and Tula approached the School Council. They were concerned about the reports they were hearing in the news about Koala's in the Australian Bush fires. The school council agreed that we should try to help and so they arranged a non school uniform day. Thanks to Sophia, Tula and the School Council we raised £511.66.
