  • Year 2 Explorer Day

Tue 31 Jan 2023 Alice and Amber

We dressed up for Explorer Day, we made biscuits and binoculars. In the morning we went outside and built dens. It was very hard to do, you had to reach the high branches on the trees. We kept trying and trying. Miss Smith said that we were resilient. In the afternoon Miss Smith told us all about the explorers Shackleton and Scott. Shackleton got stuck in the ice and did not make it home. Scott thought he was the first to make it but, it was a race, and he found out he was not the first. He was disappointed.

  • Snack Shop

    Fri 25 Nov 2022

Friday's are the reception children's favourite day. It's snack shop day!

They have to pay for a biscuit to go with their milk. Payment this week was 3, but that tricky Mrs Lager hid all the 3s and so the children had to work out how to pay using only 1s and 2s.
